Mr Whatsapp
Features

Built around one behaviour nobody else got right.

The headline feature

Takeover and timed re-entry

WhatsApp's multi-device protocol means your own replies — typed on your phone, not in any dashboard — arrive back in the session. Mr Whatsapp reads that as a takeover signal. No button, no toggle.

The agent then holds for 30 minutes. Every further message you send resets the clock, so an active conversation is never interrupted.

When the hold expires, it does not simply resume. It re-reads everything that happened while it was away and decides whether a reply is still wanted. If you answered the question, quoted a price, or the customer said thanks — it stays silent and closes the thread.

The rest of it

Knowledge base

Upload a PDF price list, paste text, crawl a page, or type FAQ pairs. The agent answers only from what you gave it.

Voice notes

Transcribed, then answered like any other message. Long recordings get a polite "please send that as text".

Images

Product photos, screenshots and handwritten notes, downscaled first so they cost sensibly.

Per-contact control

Force the agent on or off for one difficult customer without touching anyone else.

Real cost, per reply

Open any thread and see exactly what each answer cost, in tokens and dollars.

Takeover rate

One number that tells you whether the agent is getting better. It falls as your knowledge base grows.

Your data stays put

Conversations and contacts never reach our servers. Only token counts do.

Kill switch

One switch silences the agent everywhere, instantly, while WhatsApp stays connected.

Survives restarts

Holds are mirrored to the database, so a reboot never unleashes the agent mid-conversation.

One thing it will never do

Send bulk or outbound messages. That is what gets WhatsApp numbers banned, and no amount of asking will change it. Mr Whatsapp only ever replies to people who messaged you first.
